A great attraction of both the Chelsea Flower Show and the Hampton
Court Palace Flower Show are the 'show gardens'. They are particularly
good for picking up ideas for your own garden and helping you identify
styles you really like - the gardens are a showcase for some of the best
Garden Designers in the UK. I often think that 'show gardens' are a bit
like 'concept cars' or 'catwalk fashion' in that they are not always
practical or suitable for the real world and can often be very high
maintenance - but they do contain a range of great little landscaping details and planting combinations that
can be incorporated into a garden design for today's urban town garden or countryside estate.
