Soft landscaping generally refers to planted areas of a garden. We want all the gardens we build to flourish and mature steadily over time, so we take a careful approach to planting. We source and supply only the best plants from reputable nurseries around the country and ensure that the ground is throughly prepared to give the plants the best possible start. We take care when setting out planting schemes to ensure correct plant positioning, we make sure everthing is well planted, staked, pruned and trained.

Our soft landscaping service includes:

Soil Work
Digging over ground by machine and hand, improving topsoil, applying plant feeds, earth moving and grading, earth sculptures and landforms, stripping topsoil, separating soils, improving soil structure and drainage.

Lawns
Preparing the ground for seeding and turfing, supplying and laying turf, seeding and sward establishment.

Wild Flower Meadows
Supply of wild flower turf and seed mixes, laying wildflower turf, establishing wild flower meadows from seed.

Borders
Preparation of borders and planted areas, setting out planting schemes to plan, plant sourcing and supply, planting out, pruning and training newly plants.

Trees & Hedges
Sourcing and supply of trees, supply of container grown, wire root ball and bare root trees and hedging stock, excavation of tree pits, tree planting, tree staking, tree guying and anchoring, tree irrigation, planting trenches, planting native and formal hedging.

Mature Plants & Specimens
Sourcing and supply of large trees and plants, moving large and heavy specimens into site, planting large specimen trees and plants.

Green Roofs
Supply and install of lightweight growing materials, sedum roofs, wild flower roofs.

Mulching
Bark chip supply, spreading decorative bark chip mulchs, compost top dressing, applying gravel and chipping mulchs.
