The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) set the benchmark for best practice and professionalism within the landscape industry.
The APL was founded in 1995 as a specialist national group within the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) and now represents the UK’s best individual landscape professionals and their companies. The APL provides advice, education, research, public relations, benchmarking indexes and representation services to its members and is the only landscaping scheme operator of TrustMark, a Government endorsed initiative promoting professional trades people to consumers. The APL is made up of around 180 companies who design, construct and maintain gardens and open spaces for domestic and commercial customers. The Association is passionate about supporting members and helping them to provide the highest quality designed and constructed gardens to their customers.
